We all know about Pumpkin Patches, but if you’re looking for another way to get out and enjoy the fall weather, why not try a pick your own flower farm?
Brown’s Cut Flower Farm is a 3 acre U-Pick offering over 70 varieties of flowers. If you’re coming out to pick it’s best to bring along a container and wear proper footwear, close-toed shoes, especially children. If we’re not here when you visit the farm an honor system is in place, prices are posted. Crops are usually available in March, October.

Directions: take I-20, to the Cook Springs Exit, number 152, if coming from the Birmingham area turn right, if coming from the Pell City area turn left, onto Cook Springs Road, follow Cook Springs Road until it ends at Highway 78, cross Highway 78 to Mountain Top Loop, at the stop sign at the top of the mountain the farm is located on the right. Cook Springs Fire Department in on the left, farm is across from the fire department. When you take the exit, if you go straight for 1 mile, you’ve found us.
Want to turn a pumpkin into a work of art? Visit the Hoover Public Library this Saturday, October 17th at 10:30am. Bring in a fresh or craft pumpkin to decorate at the library, and have your pumpkin masterpiece on display.
