Spooky Cinnamon Sugar Crisps

We love a good Halloween themed snack or treat this time of year – try these yummy and SUPER easy Cinnamon Sugar Crisps!

What you need:

4 Flour Tortillas
1/2 Cup Sugar
3 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 butter, melted

What you’ll do:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper or spray cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray

Using your Halloween cookie cutters, cut out your spooky shapes

Combine sugar and cinnamon in a shallow dish. Brush one side of your tortilla with butter, dip in cinnamon-sugar to coat, place on prepared cookie sheet.

Bake 10 minutes or until crisp. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes

Children’s of Alabama Announces Opening of Panda Cares® Center of Hope

Children’s of Alabama is proud to announce the opening of the Panda Cares® Center of Hope. These three dedicated age-appropriate playrooms will be spaces for patients and their families and will also provide children with a safe and comforting place to go.

Vulcan’s Day of Play

Vulcan Park & Museum is participating in Our World: Worldwide Day of Play, a global play event presented by Nickelodeon and The Association of Children’s Museums on September 28, 2024 from 10am- 12pm.

This is a day dedicated to experiencing joyful learning through play.  The event will focus on getting kids and their families up, out, and playing around! Vulcan’s Worldwide Day of Play will feature lawn games, interactive art activities, museum tours, and an appearance by our mascot ‘V’. Trussville Dog Daze is a fun, family event on the historic Mall in Trussville and the admission is FREE! So much going on including kids’ activities, vendors, food trucks, side walker art contest, and lots of entertainment.
