Just in time for Summer Break, Carmike Cinemas at the Summit will be offering a lineup of Sensory Friendly Films. Aimed at families with children who find it difficult to endure a loud dark theater for the entirety of a movie.
What does sensory friendly mean? The volume of the movies will be reduced, the lights will be dimmed but not turned off, attendees are free to make noise or leave their seats if needed, and you and your family will be surrounded by others who understand the difficulties involved in taking your family to a movie. You will be surrounded by others who also have kids who can’t sit still or be completely quiet during the entire film.
