We’re so excited to see the progress being made on the new Rotary Trail in downtown Birmingham.
The Rotary Trail is considered to be an extension of Railroad Park, and runs along First Avenue South from 20th Street to 24th Street. The trail follows a “railroad cut” through downtown Birmingham and includes walking paths, benches, landscaping, lighting, boardwalks, an amphitheater and more!
This past week they installed the new replica of the “Magic City” sign that was modeled after the historic “Birmingham the Magic City” sign. It will be lit for the first time for the public at the ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for Wednesday, April 6th, when the trail officially opens.
We don’t know about you, but we can’t wait to check it all out!
