National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
On Tuesday, August 1st from 6pm – 8pm you can participate in National Night Out in Hoover or Homewood.
The Hoover Police Department will host an event at the Super Target at the Grove Shopping Center.
This FREE Event features: Hoover Police Department Displays, Hoover Fire Department Displays, Local Business Exhibits, Food Truck Options (available for purchase), Car Show, Inflatables and Giveaways.
In Homewood, Shades Valley Community Church will again partner with the West Homewood Farmers Market. Members of the Homewood police and fire departments will be on hand, and the police community relations unit will be available to answer questions and provide safety information. Inflatables and other kid’s activities will be available plus food trucks and locally grown food vendors.
From 6pm – 9pm in Bessemer the Bessemer Police Department will participate at the Bessemer Recreation Center with Free Food, Free Drinks, popcorn, inflatables, face painting and more!
The City of Fultondale will be showing appreciation for public safety officers at Black Creek Park. There will be hotdogs, chips, drinks, door prizes, and plenty of games for kids from 5pm t0 7pm
The Innsbrooke Homeowner’s Association cordially invites the entire community to their pavilion at 6:30pm. Food sponsored by the City of Pinson and Innsbrooke IHA. Meet new friends and visit with those you know!
