A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, Star Wars hit the big screen. Celebrate Star Wars with themed programming at McWane on this special day in May.

- Library Cooperative Birthday Bash at Homewood Public Library
Bring the entire family to celebrate all 40 local libraries and join us for food and activities and fun! We will have birthday cake, bounce house, face painting, balloon making, crafts and a fun photo booth. Sign up for a library card, get information about the summer reading program and more!

The Oak Mountain State Fair is a family-friendly event featuring rides, free attractions, music, food, and more. This year we are offering free parking every day.

Join us to celebrate the story and characters of Down the Yellow Brick Road before the ASC brings them to life on stage! Follow our very own yellow brick road to the ArtPlay house for lots of fun things to do including face painting, art activities and pictures with your favorite cast of characters. Attendees can also enter to win tickets for a family of 4 to see Down the Yellow Brick Road at the Alys Stephens Center May 12-13! This event is FREE. No RSVP required.
