Vote for your favorites to crown this year’s champion! Watch your most daring friends embarrass themselves in our hot pepper eating contest!
Admission price includes sampling privileges at each competitor’s station, a ballot for casting an “Audience Choice” vote, piñata smashes, kids’ activities, live entertainment, and the (in)famous Hot Pepper Eating Contest with cash prize.
Cahaba is pup friendly and we’ll have a kids’ zone, so this is truly a great event for the whole family.
Proceeds from this event will go towards Sidewalk’s education programs (Youth Board, Scramble, Sidewrite, festival panels, Salon, Book + Film Club, Tech & Technique workshops, and all our new programs we’ll be adding in the new Sidewalk Film Center + Cinema). Sidewalk is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit.
