The new Alabama Theatre for the Performing Arts hosts many live events, as well as films, a Childrens Summer Film Series and the annual showing of Polar Express

Vulcan Park and Museum- Vulcan is the world’s largest cast iron statue; made of 100,000 pounds of iron and 56 feet tall, he stands at the top of Red Mountain overlooking the city of Birmingham.
