Thanksgiving Craft: Pinecone Turkeys

I love a good Thanksgiving craft, especially if it’s something that can keep the kids busy while you’re slaving away in the kitchen.

This one is super simple, especially if you have some pinecones in your yard, you can send them out to hunt them down.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Pinecones, enough for each child to have at least 1
Black Pom Poms
Googly Eyes
Orange Felt or Craft Paper
Feathers
Glitter (optional)
Glue

What you’ll do:

Optional: Coat the pine cone with glue and sprinkle with glitter. This is a bit messy but it’s cute and keeps them busy if you give them a little brush to paint the pinecone with glue

Once coated, sprinkle with glitter.

After it’s dry, add the feathers by sticking them in between the “petals” of the pinecone. They stick pretty well on their own but you can use a little extra glue.

Add your eyes and nose to the pom pom and glue to the front of the pinecone to make it’s face.

That’s it.. Super easy and could be used as a cute centerpiece for your Thanksgiving Table.
