Parrots and Pirates at the Birmingham Zoo

Pirates, parrots and more are invited to the Birmingham Zoo to join the celebration of Parrots and Pirates on Saturday, June 3, from 10am-2pm. Festivites are free for Members or with paid admission to the Zoo.

Children are encouraged to dress up in their favorite pirate (or parrot!) costume for the exciting day when the Zoo’s pirates come alive. All attendees will receive a free eye patch and have a chance to get their face painted. Photo opportunities will be plentiful as several costumed characters will be present to entertain the attendees, as well as photo opportunities with the Zoo’s macaws.
