We are getting closer to the release of the Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn. As you all know, BirminghamMommy.com has joined forces with the Carmike Summit 16 and will be offering early access into our reserved theater. If you haven’t purchased your ticket yet, you can do so here. To sweeten the deal, Sweet Bones Alabama has offered to host our “Twilight Lounge” beginning at 7pm on November 17th. We will have food from their tasting menu, live music and drink specials. This will give you the opportunity to have an entire night out! Great food, great fun and of course, great company.
Our Will Call Table will be set up in the Twilight Lounge and you will need to go there to claim your ticket from 7pm – 10pm. At 10:30pm the doors to our reserved theater will open and you can grab your seat and enjoy some coffee off of the coffee cart supplied by Royal Cup and we’ll have doughnuts from Donut Joes. We’ll have door prizes provided by Barnes and Noble, Cheeriodicals, Royal Cup Coffee, A Twilight Affair and more!
The Carmike Summit is the place to be on Premiere night! Our Edward Look-a-Like will be out and about hanging around our lounge and on the red carpet. Make sure to bring your camera, Royal Automotive will be loaning us a Volvo just like the one from the movie and it will make the perfect backdrop for your pictures!
To sweeten the deal just a little bit more, if you purchase or have purchased your tickets through BirminghamMommy before November 10th you will automatically be entered to win a VIP upgrade into one of our VIP rows.
VIP row allows you a reserved seat in the theater as well as a little extra something in your swag bag!

The VIP seats are not available for purchase, we’ll be randomly upgrading guests that have purchased their tickets by November 10th. Depending on how many seats we have we may do a little contest as well…

It’s not a 21 and up event because of the venue. We had a lot of restrictions we had to work around with the theater to make this happen and putting an age limit on it was something we couldn’t do (or serve adult beverages…) Which is why we are doing the Twilight Lounge beforehand. The movie is PG13. I think most of the crowd will be Moms, but I think a few will probably be bringing their daughters…

I already bought my ticket for the midnight showing but bought it at the theater-can we still come? Do we just show up?
You are welcome to join us at Sweet Bones Alabama, unfortunately you won’t be able to join us in our theater for the early access or the movie. There will still be plenty of fun to be had hanging out with other fans before the movie!
