“This is our third year with a rink at Railroad Park, and we’re always awed by the transformation into a winter wonderland,” said Camille Spratling, Executive Director, Railroad Park Foundation. “We are expanding the viewing platform this year to welcome more spectators. As always, it is free to visit Railroad Park and we encourage everyone to come enjoy the atmosphere. Particularly in the evening, the lights in the rink area create a truly magical space. One of our privileges at Railroad Park is to create memorable, quintessentially Birmingham experiences, and we’re thrilled to do that for those who come from near and far to ice skate.”

“Railroad Park is establishing quite a tradition for Birmingham with the ice rink, and VIVA HEALTH
is proud to be a part of it,” said Dr. Tara Byrant, MD, Chief Medical Officer of VIVA HEALTH. “We are excited to partner with a group that supports not only Birmingham, but also active and healthy lifestyles. We are thrilled to see people from throughout the Birmingham area come together on the rink, with the cityscape as a backdrop.”

This season Red Diamond Coffee & Tea is stocking the Boxcar Café with High Altitude Rio Samba coffee, French Vanilla Cappuccino and a selection of hot teas, ready to help skaters and spectators warm up off the ice.
