This summer would be the perfect time to start a garden with your kids. Here are some ideas to get you started.
Try Herb Gardening. Growing herbs is every easy and it’s fast so the kids will see immediate results. The bonus is that your summer cooking will be flavored with fresh herbs!
Themed Container Gardening. Think of a food your kids love and grow it. If yours love Mexican food, plant a container garden that has jalapenos, cilantro, onions, and other themed plants. If you are a pizza family, plant tomatoes, green peppers, oregano, and basil in a container.
Don’t let the thought of starting a garden overwhelm you, start small with these suggestions and who knows? Next year you might want to tackle something bigger!
