- Alice In Wonderland at Sloss Furnaces
Join us at the Magic City Theatre Festival for a whimsical journey down the fated rabbit hole and into the off-kilter world of Wonderland. Inquisitive young Alice encounters the eccentric inhabitants of this fantastical land, including mock turtles, punctual rabbits, and dancing flora. Our young heroine struggles to make sense of her surroundings and – most of all – figure out a way to get home.
The Magic City Theatre Festival’s fresh take on this classic tale finds Alice in a post-industrial Wonderland, far from the Victorian rules and manners of her adolescence. Embracing the ever-lasting themes of curiosity, growing up, and finding identity, audiences young and old will find little of themselves in the furnaces of Wonderland.
All performances are FREE to the public. For more information or to reserve your ticket, visit www.bct123.org
