Fall Events at Cook Museum

Cook Museum of Natural Science always has tons of fun events going on and this Fall is no exception! Check out what you’ll find going on this month!

Cephalopod Day – October 12th

Bring your family to celebrate Cephalopod Awareness Week at the Cook Museum on October 12th! This FREE** educational event will feature:
· Kid-friendly activities
· Squid prints – using a real squid
· Preserved specimens
· Photo opportunities
· And more!

**This does not include admission to the museum. The event will take place rain or shine. In the case of rain, the event will be moved inside the museum.

Fall Family Fun Days – October 26th and 27th

Join us for a fun weekend of activities, crafts, and science at our Fall Family Fun Days on October 26-27! Activities* will take place rain or shine on Saturday 10 am – 2 pm, and Sunday Noon – 4 pm. Kids are welcome to dress up in their favorite costume! View the schedule of events below for times of activities.

Activities include:
– Multiple LIVE animal presentations (hourly)
– Stories in the Cave (hourly)
– Kids crafts
– Family photo opportunities
– Nature’s Table Café at Cook Museum will have a special smoothie with gummy worms available

*Activities will take place inside the museum and its exhibits.
*Admission to the museum includes all activities for that day.
*Members can participate in activities for free.
