Disney On Ice has arrived in Birmingham and as a fun way to promote their show and highlight some local Charities that we all love and hold dear, they sponsored a fun Pumpkin Carving Contest that aired this morning on ABC 33/40, Talk of Alabama.
The Lakeshore Foundation, Children’s of Alabama, and MDA all put their creative thinking caps on and got busy carving out some really cute Disney themed pumpkins. Each team was joined by an “off duty” Disney On Ice 
cast member who was there to help out and encourage the teams. It even got a little competitive as “Cinderella” and her real life “Prince Charming” were on opposing teams.
“Buzz Lightyear” kept his team, Children’s of Alabama on task and their final product was an adorable Super Mickey, tying in to their Month Long celebration honoring the children and their families who are fighting health care battles on a daily basis.
In the end, they were all winners and received tickets to an upcoming Disney On Ice show.
