Moss Rock Festival – The Preserve
Celebrate nature, open spaces and eco-ideas through art and design at this highly popular annual Moss Rock Festival. There is something around every corner for visitors to discover including juried art influenced by nature; a sculpture competition showcasing outdoor installations and designs – this year’s theme is “Big Ole’ Bug” where kids from surrounding schools will create a giant bug made only of recycled materials. There’s more — eco-friendly living ideas, products, businesses and organizations; live music, kids’ art workshops for all ages; the 1st annual sweets expo and tasting; a smart-living section where companies across Alabama display and sell their products and services to promote healthier eating and lifestyles. There will be guided hikes in the Moss Rock Preserve; great food and drinks and more. Don’t forget about the Beer Garden- a section of the festival where local breweries walk guests through the ins and outs of craft beer. Come enjoy art, design, green living ideas, and the great outdoors under a blanket of beautiful fall colors. Bring the whole family and get outside!
