Birds of Prey, Masters of the Skies – Alabama Wildlife Center Oak Mtn.
Callaway Gardens, Guest Speaker. Refreshments are offered at 12:30 pm in the AWC observation room followed by the programs at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm in the auditorium. Due to popular demand we are offering two programs, both of which will feature live birds “on the glove” from the Callaway Gardens Birds of Prey Program. Birds of prey are truly masters of the skies. They have keen eyesight, sharp talons and are adept hunters of both birds and animals and, fortunately for us, Alabama is home to several species. During this program you will learn their various features, adaptations and field marks to help you identify them in the field. Bring your children & camera to capture the moment!
