Birmingham Area Summer Movies, Free & Discounted, 2014

We love the Free and Discounted movies that happen around Birmingham each summer. It’s something we look forward to for some inexpensive fun, especially when the temps start to heating up!

This Summer the list is packed with even more days to choose from!

The Deal:

Amstar Cinemas – Alabaster – Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s. Admission is $3.50 per person, price includes Movie, Kids Drink and Popcorn. All movies will start at 10am, box office opens at 9:30. Seating is limited, first come first served. All movies are G or PG.

Summit, Monday and Thursday
Patton Creek, Tuesday and Thursday
Lee Branch, Mon – Thurs
This year’s series will be a complete package.  $4.00 for each attendee for each feature gets admission, kids tray with popcorn, drink. All movies will start at 10am. Seating is limited, first come first served. Additional concession items will be available for purchase at regular price. All digital format, no 3D –

The Edge 12 – FREE Family Film Festival. 11am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Doors open at 10:15, Seating is limited, first come first served. Kids combos available $3.75

Regal Trussville – Summer Movie Express. Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 10am. Admission is $1 and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Will Rogers Institute. This Summer series is proudly sponsored by: Rape and Brooks Orthodontist.

Premiere Cinemas, Tannehill – Wacky Wednesdays! FREE of charge for everyone. Showings will be every Wednesday at 10:00am. This year’s summer series is proudly sponsored by Town and Country Ford

The Alabama Theatre – Saturday/Sunday Matinees – 2pm.  Thursday/Friday Night Shows – 7pm. Tickets $8 at the door. Doors open 1 hour before show time.

Movies at Avondale Park – Tuesday nights, free family movie fun! Seating will begin at 7:15

Free Friday Flicks – Veterans Park in Hoover. Movies begin at Dusk. Free but arrive early to visit local vendors.
