The Secrets of Droon is a series of 40+ books that have been a hit at our house. Because I have a son and daughter, I have to find books that keep both of them engaged. This series has magic, adventure, royalty, and is creative. It has been described as Harry Potter for the younger crowd. The reading is simple- a 7 year old could probably handle reading it themself. Mine have both enjoyed me reading it, and can follow the story very well.
