Pancakes and Princesses
Hear ye, hear ye – Princes and Princesses! Join your Birmingham Zoo for a magical morning with our court of Enchanted Princesses during the royal Pancakes and Princesses Breakfast! Taking place on Saturday, August 13 the first seating will be from 8:30 am to 10:00 am and the second seating will be from 10:15 am to 11:45 am at the Peak, the breakfast will be followed by Fairytales and Frogs Day from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm on Henley Lawn.
Guests will enjoy a delectable breakfast and have the opportunity to meet and take photos with a multitude of royals, create regal crafts, and enjoy a fun day at the Zoo with ride wristbands. Children and adults are encouraged to dress up in their favorite prince or princess costume. **Breakfast tickets are limited so purchase in advance!

Fairy Tales and Frogs
Festivities will take place on Henley Park Lawn and are included in the price of Zoo admission for the day (free for Members). All guests (children and adults) are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes while meeting and taking photos with a multitude of royals for a magical day where fairytales come to life.

Dragon Fest
Fancy lyrics, dancing, spirits, costume contests, Dungeons and Dragons and other gaming experiences, the Lost World of Dragons exhibit, and so much more. Ticket includes museum admission, access to the Lost World of Dragons exhibit, DJ and Dance Floor, brewery tastings, costume contests, Dungeons and Dragons and other board gaming experiences, and so much more.

Jurassic Quest
Jurassic Quest opens its doors with its most beloved and unique experiences for the whole family including life-like dinosaurs, some of the largest rideable dinosaurs in North America, live dinosaur shows, interactive science and art activities including a fossil dig and real fossils like T-Rex teeth, a triceratops horn and life-size dino skull, a “Triceratots” soft play area for our littlest explorers, bounce houses and inflatable attractions, photo opportunities, and more.

Beer Bands and Bullies
Folks who love bullies (the four-legged kind) won’t want to miss out on Bama Bully Rescue’s 11th annual Beer, Bands & Bullies event. Join Bama Bully Rescue for our 11th Annual Beer Bands & Bullies music festival at Ferus Artisan Ales & the Trussville Entertainment District! $10 donation at the door, kids 12 and under are free.

Paw Patrol Live, The Great Pirate Adventure
Do not miss this PAWsome opportunity to see the whole pack as they set sail in a pirate themed live touring stage performance. Join them for this adventure-filled high-seas mission aboard the Sea Patroller as they save their mateys, Carlos and Tracker, and find some pirate treasure too!

Sidewalk Film Festival
The 24th Annual Sidewalk Film Festival presented by Regions Bank is back with a festival footprint that includes the Sidewalk Film Center and Cinema, the Alabama Theatre, the Lyric Theatre, the Carver Theatre, First Church Birmingham, the Alabama School of Fine Arts Dorothy Jemison Day Theatre, Recital Hall and Lecture Hall as well as the Steiner Auditorium at the Birmingham Museum of Art.

Touch a Truck
Lots of different types of vehicles (huge ones) that children can come see, touch, ask questions, take a photo with the vehicle and perhaps sit behind the wheel. Several local Fire Departments, Police Departments, and Emergency Response Teams… will be there! Lots of fun. Come greet our community first responders and community leaders who take a special interest in our safety and the safety of our children
