Valentines Day will be here before you know it.. Get ahead of the game with one of these Out of the Box ideas!
Lips and Mustaches: This might be my favorite for this year! Use red craft foam for lips, black craft foam for the Mustache. Use a template or free hand lips and mustaches and cut them out. Put a small slit in the middle to slide a Tootsie Pop or Blow Pop in to.. Completely adorable fake lips and mustache.
Valentine Smore’s: Super Easy for any holiday! Find some heart shaped marshmallows, get some small “fun size” Hershey bars and graham crackers. Assemble a little Smore’s kit and put into a cute little clear bag. Many craft stores have a variety of options available.
Paint Chip Valentine’s: This one is very different but we find it cute all the same. Head to your local hardware store and raid the pink and red hued paint samples. Once you’re home, get out your heart shaped stamps and decorate. Very neat in an unconventional way.
Sponge painted heart cards: These are simple and easy, that’s why we like them so much! Some blank pre-made cards or some plain cardstock. A sponge cut into a heart shape with pink or red paint and that’s it. Easy Breezy homemade cards
Bear Hugs: M&M’s with some chocolate Teddy Grahams in a clear cellophane bag with a tag that says bear hugs and you’re done! For a new twist on this, use just the M&M’s (or any other small candy, like Skittles or Reese’s Pieces) and pick up some inexpensive plastic shovels from the $1 store, stick the scoop part of the shovel into the cellophane bag with the candy and label it “I dig you”
