Easter happens to fall on April Fool’s Day this year, which makes it the perfect opportunity to combine the 2 and have a little fun with your kids and their Easter Egg Hunt and Goodies.
Here are a few ideas:
Fake Money: Instead of filling their eggs with actual coins and cash, fill them with some pretend/monopoly money.
Super Glue: Use real money, but super glue the eggs shut.
Bunny Poop: Put some jelly beans in the toilet and pretend the Bunny forgot to flush
Prank Basket: Leave a scavenger hunt and a basket full of vegetables in place of their real basket, giving them clues on where to find the good stuff.
Swap their Favorite Candy: Carefully unseal and swap 2 candies, like M&Ms in a Skittles bag, and Skittles in the M&M bag, and re-glue and leave in their baskets.
Jelly Bean Ice: Fill your Ice Maker with Jelly Beans
Jelly Bean Shoes: Fill their shoes with black Jelly Beans (no one likes those anyway)
Hide and Seek (or not): Send the kids out to find eggs you didn’t hide.
