A pop culture phenomenon comes to the Red Mountain Theater Company stage! The Emmy Award-winning 1970’s Saturday morning cartoon series that taught history, grammar, math, science and politics through clever, tuneful songs is instructing a whole new generation to “Unpack Your Adjectives” and “Do The Circulations.”
Tom, a new school teacher nervous about his first day of teaching, tries to relax by watching TV when various characters come to life and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music, through beloved songs like “Just A Bill,” “Lolly, Lolly, Lolly” and “Conjunction Junction.”

Military Appreciation Day
All active duty and retired military personnel and their dependents will receive FREE admission into the zoo on Wednesday, November 11 in honor of Veteran’s Day. Military and dependent ID’s will be required.
Shopping, caroling, specials and more! Join your neighbors and friends tonight as the merchants of Edgewood welcome a little of the holiday spirit! Homewood’s Holiday Open House on Thursday, November 5th from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Thursday November 5 at the Ross Bridge Town Hall from 10am-2pm. They will be selling boys and girls clothing from the fall/winter and spring/summer collections, so lots of great choices!
Sizes run from 6 months up to size 12. They offer traditional smocked garments, appliqued items, and trendier pieces made with designer fabrics, like peasant dresses and knot tops. EVERYTHING IS MARKED $35 OR LESS.
Cash and credit cards are accepted. Parking is EASY at the Ross Bridge Town Hall…right at the front door. Children are welcome…there will even be a small play area for them inside.
