The time has come to get into the holiday mood. Yes, the stores and radio stations have been pushing us into it for a while, but now…it’s December. Let the festivities begin!
Here’s a fun recipe to get into the spirit of things.
Reindeer Food
Ingredients:
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup peanut butter
16 oz pkg rice-square type cereal
3 cups confectioners sugar
Instructions:
Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter in saucepan. Pour over cereal in large bowl, stirring to coat. Combine with confectioners sugar in garbage bag (this is a must). Shake well to coat with sugar evenly. Remove from bag and place on flat surface to cool (otherwise will steam and kind of melt the confectioners sugar and things will be goopy). Store in airtight container.
The next Build and Grow Clinic is this Saturday, stop by Lowe’s and let the kids make this adorable Gingerbread house.
