Our crew recently tackled The Depths room at Escape Game at The Summit, and let’s just say — it did not disappoint. Between piecing together clues and racing against the clock, they made it out with 10 minutes to spare, which if you’ve ever done an escape room, you know is no small feat.
If getting stuck in a submarine isn’t your thing, there’s plenty of room to explore — they’ve got 5 different escape rooms total, each running a full hour of game time. Group sizes vary by room too, so depending on which one you pick, you can bring anywhere from a smaller crew up to 8 or even 12 players. That makes it easy to tailor the outing to whoever you’re bringing along, whether it’s a couple of kids or a full birthday party.
The employees were friendly, and helpful when needed, but still let them work through the puzzles on their own. It’s the kind of activity that keeps kids (and let’s be honest, adults too) fully locked in the entire time.
It’s also conveniently located right next door to Great Big Game Show, which we visited a few weeks ago — [read about that trip here] — so if you want to make a whole afternoon of it, you’ve basically got two activities within a few steps of each other.
If you’ve got a group looking for something different to do — a birthday outing, a friend hangout, or just a fun way to spend an afternoon — this is one to check out.
