On Thursday, August 9 from 11 am.-3 p.m. Fortis Institute-Birmingham will host its first annual Summer Bash. The kid-friendly community event will include free food, music, demonstrations from the fire and police department, health screenings, and a bookbag giveaway (while supplies last.)
