Fortis Institute-Birmingham Hosts Inaugural Summer Bash Event

On Thursday, August 9 from 11 am.-3 p.m. Fortis Institute-Birmingham will host its first annual Summer Bash. The kid-friendly community event will include free food, music, demonstrations from the fire and police department, health screenings, and a bookbag giveaway (while supplies last.)

In preparation for back-to-school, Fortis Institute at Birmingham will host the inaugural Summer Bash on Thursday, August 9. The event will serve as a way for the community to meet instructors, program directors, and current students. Attendees will enjoy food, music, games and a bookbag giveaway.

Guests can also take advantage of Fortis Institute’s $25 dental cleanings, health screenings, and tours of the school’s clinic. These cleanings are also available year-round through an appointment. For more information, call (205) 940-7800.
