The partial government shutdown that started Dec. 22 has left hundreds of thousands of federal workers on the job without a check or furloughed at home waiting for resolution. In Alabama, there are 5,500 employees at federal agencies without funding and subject to the shutdown. There are many businesses offering assistance for those impacted, here’s what we’ve found. If you know of something else, please drop us a comment and we’ll get it added!
