Birmingham’s largest and most iconic fireworks show and this year it is extra special as the nation celebrates its 250th birthday! More than 2,500 fireworks shells and effects in a 20-minute show synchronized to a patriotic soundtrack broadcast on iHeartMedia Birmingham stations including 102.5 The Bull, 103.7 The Q, Magic 96.5, and News Radio 960 WERC. The show airs live on WBRC 6 News.

Thunder on the Mountain is visible from multiple vantage points across downtown Birmingham and Homewood. Arrive between 7:00 and 8:00 PM to secure a good spot!
