Support the Amelia Center during the 17th Annual Baby Steps Memorial Run
Who: The Amelia Center at Children’s of Alabama and the Baby Steps Memorial Race Committee
What: The 17th annual Baby Steps Memorial Run gives families who have lost a loved one a chance to unite and honor their loved ones while raising awareness and money for The Amelia Center.
When: Saturday, September 13. Same-day registration and packet pickup begin at 7 a.m. The 5K starts at 8 a.m., followed by the Fun Run Start. Race information can be found at https://babystepsal.com/
Where: Homestead Hollow, 1161 Murphrees Valley Road, Springville, Alabama 35146
Why: Proceeds from this memorial run will benefit the Amelia Center, a program that provides hope for grieving children, parents and their families. The center offers professional counseling for children (age five and above) and teenagers grieving the death of a parent, grandparent, sibling, close relative or friend. It also provides counseling for parents grieving the death of a child of any age. The Amelia Center operates on donations and continued support from community members.
