Easter Eggs Hunts and Events In Birmingham

Grab those Easter Baskets and make plans to attend one (or more!) of these fun Easter Events or Egg hunts happening around Birmingham, there are plenty to choose from!

UAB Dragon Egg Hunt
April 3rd | 1pm

Join UAB Athletics as it hosts the fifth annual Dragon Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 3 at PNC Field. three separate egg hunt areas for kids, additional parking accommodations and more event amenities.

Children ages 12 and under are invited to officially participate in the egg hunt and all ages are welcomed to enjoy in the fun. Pre-registration is now available online by clicking here and will allow quick access on event day. Fans are encouraged to pre-register to receive a UAB prize when you check in at the event! Prizes are available while supplies last. Gates open at 1 p.m. and the egg hunt will begin promptly at 2 p.m.

In addition to the Dragon Egg Hunt, fans can have their face painted, visit with Blaze and take photos with UAB student-athletes. There will also be inflatables, games, giveaways, and food trucks including Heavenly Donuts and more.

Bluff Park Methodist
April 9th | 9:30am

Calling all kids 5th grade and under. Bluff Park UMC is hosting our annual Community Easter Egg Hunt on April 9th.

Welcome and Registration for the egg hunt begins at 9:30 am and the egg hunt follows at 10:30 am. Everything will take place outdoors this year.

The Easter Bunny will be walking around for pictures.

The event takes place, rain or shine. So, please make plans to join us. We look forward to seeing you.

Easter Egg Hunt – Birmingham First Church
April 9th | 4pm

Hop on over to the President’s Lawn on Birmingham-Southern College’s campus on Saturday, April 9 at 4:00pm. You’ll find 1500 eggs, free Steel City Pops, crafts, a bounce house, live bunnies (and a silly one for pictures!), and a ton of fun with your church family. All are invited- bring a friend!

City of Helena Easter Egg Hunt
April 9th | 9am

Age Group Hunts:
2 & under – 9:30 – 11 AM (this age group will have hunts on the baseball field throughout the morning)
3-7 year olds – 9:30 AM

Birmingham Zoo
April 10th | 10am -1pm

HOP ON OVER to Birmingham’s biggest Easter Egg Hunt! Join us at our Easter Egg-sperience on Sunday, April 10th, from 10:00 am-1:00 pm. The Easter egg hunt will include more than 10,000 eggs hidden in Henley Park and four egg hunts offered for different age groups. Children can collect ten eggs and receive a plush bunny toy! The children’s egg hunts are free for Zoo members and included in admission for non-members.

ALSO RETURNING THIS YEAR, The Adult Easter Egg Hunt is back! Each participant will find one egg hidden on the Trails of Africa playground and bring it to our prize table to redeem their exclusive prize. The exclusive prizes included certificates provided by area businesses, special Zoo tours, memberships, and much more, valued at $50 or greater. Easter Eggstravaganza at Wald Park

Visit the baby animal petting zoo, take a picture with the Easter Bunny, make a craft and find a prize egg! This non-competitive, relaxed egg hunt is for children ages 6 and under.

Flashlight Egghunt – The Church at Liberty Park
April 15th | 6:30pm

Join us for a night of family fun as we hunt for Easter eggs! The Flashlight Egg Hunt is Friday, April 15, 2022 at 6:30pm. All children Preschool through 5th grade are invited to attend. Pizza and drinks will be provided. To register, please fill out this form

Oak Mountain State Park Easter Egg Hunt
