North Shelby Library

A spooky tradition here at the North Shelby Library going on 12 years now.  We will share an hour of campfire spooky stories with Ms. Kristy, and cook s’mores and hot dogs by the fire.   Costumes welcome.   The event will be held on the back patio.  In the event of poor weather, we will move

Stop by the Children’s Department for some small games and activities. Designed for 3-6 year olds. No registration required.

BYOP (Bring Your Own Pumpkin). We’ll provide the paint. All ages welcome with a caregiver. Registration is required. Registration opens two weeks before event.

A clever young witch has a ghost problem – and she knows just how to handle it! Join us for stories, games, crafts, and snacks! Suited for ages 3-5. Registration required and begins 2 weeks before event.

The library provides the Legos, the kids provide the imagination and creativity! Families are welcome to drop in anytime between 10:00 and 11:30 to build spectacular creations. Creations will then go on display in the Children's Department. All ages welcome. No registration required.

Tents and tunnels and fun galore! Ages 5 and under. Caretaker supervision required. No registration. Drop in anytime between 10-12.

It's Johnny Appleseed Day! Stop by the Children's Department any time today for a small craft while supplies last.
