The Bell Center’s 11th Annual Tailgate Challenge

We are hosting an event at The Bell Center (located in Homewood) called The Tailgate Challenge that I would love to get on your website and/or event calendar! Here is some more information about the event:

The tailgate challenge is an annual fundraising event that takes place at The Bell Center (1700 29th Court South Homewood, AL 35209). This year marks the 11th Annual Tailgate Challenge, which is being presented by Encompass Health on August 24th, 2019 from 11 am-2 pm. This event provides a fun way for football fans to celebrate and anticipate the upcoming football season while supporting The Bell Center for Early Interventions Programs. Event goers will enjoy tastes of tailgating food at various team tents during an afternoon of music, kid friendly activities, and team rivalry. Team tent boosters are responsible for providing their own tailgate tent and team decorations to show their spirit. Each team will also provide a taste of tailgating food that may be prepared either on site or brought ready to their tent. Teams are not asked to bring enough food to fully feed the crowd, merely to give the attendees a taste of the food they have prepared. A panel of local “celebrity: judges will be on hand to score each of the teams on 5 different categories (best food, best drink, team spirit, best all-around and people’s choice).
