Epic Read A Thon

Join us on February 25-26, 2017, for the Epic Read-A-Thon, a 24-hour, non-stop, out-loud reading of classic tales about daring voyages and great adventures.
The read-a-thon will benefit the Woodlawn Writers Corps, the Desert Island Supply Co.‘s in-school program that delivers weekly poetry workshops to more than 500 students at Oliver Elementary, Avondale Elementary and Putnam Middle School.
We need your help to make the read-a-thon happen! Sign up to read for a 10-minute shift at discobham.com/epic and then ask your friends, family, co-workers and others to support your campaign for the Woodlawn Writers Corps.
Readers of all ages are welcome! After you sign up as a reader/fundraiser, a read-a-thon organizer will email you to schedule a 10-minute reading time that suits you on either Saturday, February 25, or Sunday, February 26.
The event is free to participate in and attend, but we ask all participants to sign up in advance as readers at discobham.com/epic.
