9th Annual Salsa Showdown

Get ready for Birmingham’s best Memorial Day Weekend event! Eat all the chips, salsa, queso, guac, and specialty dips you can from local restaurants and vendors! Vote for your favorites to crown this year’s champion! Watch your most daring friends embarrass themselves in our hot pepper eating contest!
Admission price includes sampling privileges at each competitor’s station, a ballot for casting an “Audience Choice” vote, piñata smashes, kids’ activities, live entertainment, and the (in)famous Hot Pepper Eating Contest with cash prize.
Cahaba is pup friendly and we’ll have a kids’ zone, so this is truly a great event for the whole family.
$15 in advance, $20 at the door. Kids 5 and under get in free!
