
February is Kids ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) Health Month, a time to raise awareness about some of the most common ENT conditions that affect children.
“We have lots of kids with ear infections, hearing problems, nasal congestion, runny or bloody noses,” said Dr. Philip Rosen, a pediatric otolaryngologist at Children’s of Alabama. “We actually deal with a lot of sleep apnea in children, or sleep disorder or sleep disorder breathing, tonsillitis, laryngitis, and sore throats.”
