The Snow Day by Komako Sakai – A book about the snow that falls and falls and falls. It taught my girls terms like “snow dumpling” and “snow monsters.” Needless to say they are anxiously awaiting the next snowfall in order to attempt those little creations of their own.
When Winter Comes by Nancy Vann Laan – We loved learning about where the animals, bugs and flowers go when the winter comes and the cold wind blows
