SUMMARY:City of Hoover 50th Celebration
DESCRIPTION:The city of Hoover will host its annual city-wide celebration\, Celebrate Hoover Day\, on Saturday\, April 29th from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm at Veterans Park on Valleydale.  This event will serve as the city’s 50th anniversary celebration and is free to the public\n\n\n\n\nCelebrate Hoover Day festivities will kick-off at 11:00 am with the Veterans Memorial Paver Dedication Ceremony.  A wide variety of activities are scheduled including:  car show\, live entertainment\, expansive exhibitor pavilion featuring more than 100 Hoover Area Chamber of Commerce businesses\, large Kids Zone\, giant apple pie and ice cream\, document destruction\, e-cycling and more.  Many food truck vendors will serve a range of food and beverage selections that will be available to purchase.\n\nThe Kids Zone will feature: inflatables\, games\, carnival rides\, pony rides\, petting zoo\, face painting\, balloon twisters\, Home Depot build project\, cotton candy and more.\n\n\n\nParking for the event will be at Spain Park High School parking lot with complimentary shuttles to event area.\n\nFor additional information check the city’s website at www.hooveralabama.gov\, Facebook page at Hoover\, Alabama – City Hall or on Twitter- @CityofHoover and on Instagram- @CityofHoover.
