DESCRIPTION:SAACS at UAB is in the process of preparing for our fifth annual Mad Scientist Day Junior event\, which will take place in the UAB Chemistry building on Saturday\, May 5th\, 2018\, from 9:00am-3:30pm. During this event\, elementary and middle school age children accompanied by an adult will be able to participate in up to thirty hands-on experiments that explain science concepts in simple ways. This event will also be free to the public!
