DESCRIPTION:Birmingham’s best food trucks will gather at American Family Care Presents Trucks by the Tracks on Sunday\, September 17\, serving up everything from po boys\, gourmet grilled cheese & specialty burgers to popsicles\, snow balls and ice cream sandwiches! It’s Birmingham at its best\, with lawn games and activities set up throughout the park. Live bands will take to the stage as everyone enjoys the City’s best mobile cuisine. Musical acts will perform throughout the afternoon including headliner WRAY\, Josh Vasa\, Eugenius Neutron\, and Michael Ham. Tasty beverages will be for sale\, too – Coca-Cola products will be available\, as will Good People Brews.  Our VIP Experience will be located on the Regions Bank 17th Street Plaza\, providing ample seating\, plenty of shade\, and a private bar without the lines. The VIP section will be fully stocked with complimentary snacks\, Coca-Cola products\, and water\, as well as yummy dessert provided by Birmingham Candy Company. A limited number of VIP tickets are available\, so get them while they last! American Family Care Presents Trucks by the Tracks is one of Railroad Park’s biggest annual fundraising events and all proceeds support the Park. Thank you for supporting our efforts to spur development and revitalization in Birmingham! Gates open by 11 a.m. Attendees pay the trucks directly for food. An ATM will be on site. Two entry gates will be located on 1st Avenue South at 17th and 18th streets. Outside alcohol is not allowed in Railroad Park at any time. SUMMARY:Trucks By the Tracks
DESCRIPTION:Railroad Park’s 5th annual Trucks by the Tracks food truck festival\, which will be held September 18\, 11am-5pm. Thirty food trucks and carts will serve up tasty favorites\, from hot chicken and coastal seafood to donuts and ice cream. 1st Avenue South in front of the park between 16th Street and 18th Street will be closed to traffic and turned into a pedestrian area lined with food trucks. This year food carts will be set up along Powell Avenue\, extending the food offerings throughout the park.\n\nTickets to Trucks by the Tracks\, Railroad Park’s annual fundraiser\, cost $5 in advance\, $7 at the gate plus credit card convenience fees. Children under 12 receive free entry. Two entry gates will be located on 1st Avenue South at 17th Street and 18th Street. The VIP section gets an overhaul for 2016\, moving under the 17th Street Plaza for additional seating\, plenty of shade\, and a private bar with shorter lines. The VIP section will be fully stocked with free snacks\, Coca Cola products\, and water. A limited number of VIP tickets are available\, costing $35 in advance\, $45 at the gate\, or $120 in advance for a group of four.

DESCRIPTION:Join us on our rescheduled date of July 23\, 2016 for our (Birthday) Party at the Parks! Celebrating 125 years of ministry through ABCH\, we’ll enjoy much of the same inflatables\, food\, music\, and fun as last year\, but with a few “birthday sprinkles” thrown in. \nWe are so excited to celebrate our foster families while raising awareness about foster care! Party at the Parks is a FREE event open to the entire Birmingham community. If you have any questions\, please email us at partyattheparks@alabamachild.org. \nThis event is brought to you by ABCH’s Birmingham Regional Advisory Board\, a volunteer group of young leaders in the community. \nInflatables for all ages\, photos with princesses\, face painting\, clowns\, yard games\, snow cones\, cotton candy\, and popcorn. \nAll events held at Railroad Park will be FREE!
