SUMMARY:Christmas at the Falls
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the Holiday Season at Christmas at the Falls 2017\nCelebrate the holiday season with Noccalula Falls and the City of Gadsden at Christmas at the Falls. Enjoy millions of lights throughout the park with spectacular views from the paved walking trails or from the vantage of a ride on the park’s train. During your visit to see the light displays\, you can stop for activities including cookie decorating\, the petting zoo and hot chocolate. While visiting Christmas at the Falls don’t miss a chance to visit with Santa Claus\, take a picture and drop a letter to the North Pole in Santa’s special mailbox at the Old Post Office in the Pioneer Village. \n\nChristmas at the Falls runs nightly from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and kicks off on November 23rd at 5 p.m. and lasts through December 23rd. Christmas at the falls will reopen December 26th and conclude on December 30th. Tickets can be purchased at the Noccalula Falls Entry Pavilion each day starting at 4 p.m. In an effort to speed up the ticketing process and for an added convenience to our Christmas at the falls visitors\, we’re offering ticket sales online.  \nYou can purchase advance tickets at http://www.noccalulafallspark.com/ . Advance ticket holders can skip the purchase line and head straight to the entry pavilion with their paper or smartphone barcode ticket. Tickets for ages 4 and older are $6\, 3 and younger are free. Weather conditions can cause the closure of Christmas at the Falls as the train cannot run in inclement weather. Weather closures will be posted on social media channels and can be confirmed by phone at 256-549-4663. \n\nChristmas at the Falls includes a variety of special events adding further excitement and treats for visitors. Get a sneak peek of the lights on November 21st with Paws on the Falls. $1 from each ticket will be donated to the Etowah County Humane Society. Pets are welcome on a leash. The train and petting zoo will be unavailable at Paws on the Falls. On November 24th at 4:15pm we officially kick off Christmas at the Falls with the highly anticipated arrival of Santa Claus. He will then be at the park nightly from Nov. 24th though Dec. 23rd. December 6th visitors will experience holiday musical selections from the Gadsden State Show Band. December 7th Mrs. Claus will join the festivities for a special visit and story time at the Pioneer Village\, where she’ll read “The Night Before Christmas” at 5:30\, 6:30\, 7:30\, and 8:30 p.m. December 19th will feature a visit from Ronald McDonald and friends and free cookies. Lastly\, visitors can “Greet the Grinch\,” the popular character from “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas\,” on Nov. 24 and 30\, Dec. 5\, 16\, and 23. \n\nWe hope you’ll come join us in celebrating the holiday season and spend an evening at Christmas at the Falls. SUMMARY:Noccalula Falls Halloween Super Bash
DESCRIPTION:The City of Gadsden Parks and Recreation Department is hosting its 6th annual Halloween Super Bash at Noccalula Falls Park on Saturday\, October 14th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (1500 Noccalula Road\, Gadsden\, AL 35904).\nThe Noccalula Falls Halloween Super Bash is a fearfully fun and family-friendly event! Break out your costumes\, and come enjoy games\, inflatables\, balloon fun with Big Sam\, trick-or-treating\, vendors and more. In the true spirit of Halloween\, Noccalula Falls Park will have classic fall activities like bobbing for apples\, and a pumpkin toss. The regular Park attractions will also get holiday twists with Halloween themed stops at the petting zoo\, train ride and other locations around the park.\nThe Halloween Super Bash event will last from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.\, but Noccalula Falls will remain open until 5 p.m. for guests who wish to tour the park.\nTickets for the event are $6.00 for adults and children ages 4 and up.
