SUMMARY:Magic City Caribbean Food and Music Festival
DESCRIPTION:Since 2011\, Central Alabama Caribbean American Organization (CACAO) has contributed greatly to the cultural fabric of the City of Birmingham in a variety of ways to include the annual festival in Linn Park that showcases the music\, food and culture of the region. \nLast year the festival also featured a parade of costumes which that wound it’s way down 20th street into the park and which will take place again this year. \nThe festival is free\, family friendly and open to all. Visitors can expect a 15 piece steel band\,\nRevolution Reggae Band\, there is also dancing and hula hoop demonstrations with guests of all ages invited to participate. There is also lots of great food and other vendors and the exceptional MC for the day Ulato Sam from UCLA who gets the crowd moving.
