SUMMARY:ABF BASIC 2018 Summer Program
DESCRIPTION:As the school year winds down and Summer heats up\, the Alabama Baseball Foundation (ABF) tees up for another season dedicated to preventing summer learning loss in children in grades one through eight. ABF is now recruiting children to fill its Birmingham-based programs. \nABF’s Baseball and Academic Skills Instructional Course (BASIC) is a co-ed sports and education-related summer program written by the Curriculum and Learning Department of UAB and consisting of over 300 sports-related math and reading lessons. Summer programs last 5 weeks for 6.5 hours a day. \nSign up applications for 2018 Summer BASIC Programs may be completed at http://americanbaseballfoundation.com/sign-up-for-summer-basic-programs-2018/. A $50 application fee is required and the applicant will be responsible for transportation to the program site.
