Magic City Magic Camp is going to be super special this year. It’s going to be fun. It’s going to be magical. It’s going to be filled with life-lessons that kids don’t even know they are learning.
Life lessons?
Yep… magic is about communicating well. Magic is about looking a person in the eye and really “seeing them” and “understanding their reactions”. This is an important life-skill because we live in a “screen-age” where kids are not great at person-to-person communication. Magic tricks are terrific at improving person to person communication skills for kids.
Ever seen a pick a card trick, where no one picks a card? No, you haven’t, that’s because magic is interactive. Magic is interactive by its very nature. Magic can even improve a kid’s self-esteem!
How?
Every magician will tell you that it’s a very very good feeling to show their Mom or Dad or Grandmother a magic trick and the response is, “wow… how did you do that?”

The dates: June 6th-10th, 2022 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.
It’s open to all 8-12 year old kids in the Birmingham area!
Kids will learn some amazing magic tricks: how to read someone’s mind, how to make ropes instantly grow, and even how to make money magically appear! There will also be fun games, silly music, laughter, learning even more cool magic tricks, exploring what it means to be a true magician, even more laughter, learning the 3 Rules of Magic, and kids will take home a TON of MAGIC (created by the award winning Discover Magic Program) in your own MAGIC BAG (retail value – $79), and even more fun!
