To say we’re a wee bit sad about not being able to go to the movies right now would be a huge understatement. It’s one of our favorite past times all year long, not just during the summer. We were excited to see that Veterans Park in Alabaster will be hosting a few movies in the park, here’s the line up:
- June 19 – “Disney Frozen II (2019)” – 103 min. – rated PG
- July 10 – “Disney Aladdin (2019)” – 128 min. – rated PG
- July 24 – “Playing With Fire” – 96 min. – rated PG
The movies are free so it makes for a fun, yet economical evening of entertainment for family and friends. All you’ll need to bring is a blanket or chair to sit on, and some snacks and drinks. The movies will begin showing around dusk (usually 8).
IMPORTANT: Please practice social distancing while attending one of the movies!
Included in the current COVID-19 Guidelines: “All non-work related gatherings of any size, including drive-in gatherings, that cannot maintain a consistent six-foot distance between persons from different households are prohibited”.
Veterans Park is located at 7305 Highway 119, Alabaster.
