The kid reporters took over the BirminghamMommy test kitchen to experiment with some popsicle flavors, here’s what they came up with.
Root Beer/Coke Float Popsicles
Ingredients:
12-14 ounces Root Beer/Coke
1 1/4 cup Vanilla Bean ice cream, softened
Instructions:
Pour a small amount of the Root Beer or Coke into each popsicle mold (about 3/4 inch in the mold)
Spoon in ice cream
Pour Root Beer/Coke into molds in small amounts waiting for the foam to die back before pouring more.
Cover with lid of popsicle molds.
Freeze until fully frozen.
Orange Pink Lemonade
Ingredients:
Orange Flavored Drink (Orange Juice, Kool-Aid, Gatorade…)
Pink Lemonade
Popsicle Molds (lids not needed)
Wooden Sticks
Instructions:
Pour a layer of orange drink into the bottom of your popsicle mold.
Put in the freezer for about 30 minutes, until the layer has started to freeze, but not quite solid.
Remove from freezer and insert wooden sticks.
Freeze until layer is solid.
Add layer of pink lemonade. Freeze for about 30 minutes
Add in more orange drink and allow to sit for a minute so it can mix together. Back to freezer and freeze until solid.
Add a final layer of pink lemonade, freeze until solid.
Pineapple Pink Lemonade
Ingredients:
Fresh Pineapple
Pink Lemonade
Instructions:
Chop pineapple and fill about 3/4 of the popsicle mold
Pour In Pink Lemonade
Freeze
Strawberry Pink Lemonade

Chop strawberries and fill about 3/4 of the popsicle mold
Pour In Pink Lemonade
