Ms Amanda – Vestavia Hills Library
Vestavia Hills is waiting on their new library to finish, but in the meantime, there is a great storytime available at the original structure on Hwy 31. Ms. Amanda starts storytime with several songs, then tells a story with props, then ends with a craft and snack or treat. It’s a very simple storytime, there are no flashing lights. But simple is good. It’s not overstimulating, it’s actually very low key and enjoyable. I recommend trying it out now, before the new library is open. Currently, the attendance is never so bad that you’re miserable. That may change soon.
