The whole family will enjoy the Pooch Parade\, eating contests\, and satisfy their appetites with fried Oreos\, funnel cake\, shrimp poboys\, Philly cheese steaks\, kettlecorn\, Cajun pistolettes\, or sip on a tall glass of fresh squeezed lemonade. Proceeds benefit college scholarships for local high school seniors. Our 5K Race will help Magic Moments grant a wish for a child with a chronically illness. \nFree admission. DESCRIPTION:Junior League Of Birmingham’s Bargain Carousel is back. \nA 1000-family garage sale\, Bargain Carousel has been labeled the “largest garage sale in Birmingham.” Through member donations\, Bargain Carousel provides shoppers with quality items\, including many of life’s necessities\, at very affordable prices. Over 5\,000 shoppers In return\, proceeds are returned directly to the Birmingham community through the Community Projects the JLB supports. Over 100\,000 items for sale. \nBargain Carousel takes place on  Saturday\, April 27: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday\, April 28th: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.  \nTickets for Saturday admission go on sale Friday\, April 26\, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Bargain Carousel space. These are not available online as they are sold in order\, allowing for shoppers to enter in ticket number order on Saturday morning. \nThe cost is $10 for Saturday entry between 8 a.m. and noon and $5 from noon to 5 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased at the door. On Sunday\, admission is free and all items are half price. \nAlthough Sunday admission is free\, JBL would appreciate donations of diapers and/or wipes to help support the JLB Diaper Bank

DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\nA spring yoga retreat where you will spend the day focusing on wellness and self-nurturing. Hosted at 1818 Farms\, attendees will participate in three different yoga classes (Vinyasa Flow\, Yin\, and a Breathe Meditation) all taught by yoga instructor Cathy Lighton. These classes will be spread out during the day. Chef Jakob Reed from Huntsville\, AL\, will lead an engaging and informative cooking demonstration of healthy dishes\, including vegan and paleo options. After the cooking demonstration\, a three course lunch will be served. In the afternoon\, Natasha McCrary\, will lead an interactive make and take session where participants will plant a decorative succulent cup and discuss care and prorogation tips. Participants will also spend time meeting our new lambs and the farm family of 1818 Farms.
