DESCRIPTION:Complimentary refreshments are offered at 12:30 pm in the AWC observation room followed by two programs\, due to popular demand\, at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm in the auditorium. Both programs will feature live birds “on the glove” from AWC’s Education Ambassadors Program. Birds of prey are truly masters of the skies. They have keen eyesight\, sharp talons and are adept hunters. Fortunately for us\, Alabama is home to several species. During this program you will learn their various features\, adaptations and field marks to help you identify them in the field. Bring your children & camera to capture the moment!
